Nautical Science Sailing
Immerse your child in the world of sailing with Waterfront Education's Nautical Science Curriculum, where they can explore the art of sailing in an outdoor, on-the-water learning setting. Our favorite small harbor is ideal for getting students out sailing in the ocean. They experience the vastness of the ocean and have close animal encounters while learning sailing skills and building confidence in nature’s classroom.
Nautical Science Sailing 1 and 2 - Join one of our group sailing keelboat classes, where students embark on an exciting ocean learning adventure. They will discover the art of sailing while delving into essential nautical science concepts. Aspiring sailors will learn the basics of handling a keelboat and explore topics like weather patterns, chart navigation, ocean waves, and the importance of sustainability in maritime practices. Through hands-on experience and engaging discussions, students will gain a well-rounded understanding of both sailing techniques and the fascinating world of nautical science.
