Sea Squirts Camp - ages 5 to 9

Explore. Discover. Examine. Experiment. Observe.
Students discover the world around them as they explore our local harbor waters and beaches. Specimens are examined through microscopes and experiments conducted while making scientific observations. A craft is incorporated every class that relates to the learning theme for the day. Topics to be explored may include plankton, weights and measures, bubbles, habitats, winds and tides, survival strategies for predator vs. prey, deep ocean etc. Each session will have unique activities to keep our little campers engaged. Our small camp size ensures a personalized hands-on learning environment. (minimum 8 / maximum 15) 

Coastal Survivor Camp - ages 10+

Develop Skills. Be Resourceful. Think Creatively.
Students will learn about the geography of our coastal environment and the organisms that inhabit our local waters. Once those fundamental lessons are taught, we will learn skills that will help us to find edible, medicinal, and utilitarian resources from our local land and ocean environments. The bulk of this course will be taught in Palos Verdes, where we will hike along the many trails that lead down into the ocean. Our small camp size ensures personalized hands on learning environment. (minimum 8 / maximum 15)

Mad Scientist Camp - ages 5 to 9

Hypothesize. Experiment. Analyze. Explore.
Campers explore different topics each day through hands-on STEM* challenges aligned with NGSS** and Ocean Literacy Principles. Experiments focus on chemistry, physics, geometry, and marine sciences. A combination of demonstrations, independent exploration and unique experiments expose students to a variety of basic scientific concepts. (minimum 8 / maximum 15)

Girls Splash Squad Camp - ages 10+

This camp brings girls together and empowers them in a supportive female learning environment. This camp will explore and encourage each girl's strengths while exposing them to various water activities.Experiments, craft projects and excursions will be explored in and around King Harbor. (minimum 8 / maximum 15)
