Develop Skills. Be Resourceful. Think Creatively
Students will learn about the geography of our coastal environment and the organisms that inhabit our local waters. Once those fundamental lessons are taught, we will learn skills that will help us to find edible, medicinal, and utilitarian resources from our local land and ocean environments. The bulk of this course will be taught in Palos Verdes, where we will hike along the many trails that lead down into the ocean. Our small camp size ensures a personalized hands-on learning environment for all students. (minimum 8 / maximum 15)

HELLO!! Can you hear me?? In this fun-filled 5-day camp, students will delve into physics, biology, and chemistry as they explore the sounds in our ocean, from some very operatic whales to chattering clownfish and babbling boats! In order to listen to the underwater world, students will participate in hands-on activities such as boating, snorkeling, hydrophone experiments, echolocation games, arts-and-crafts, and of course, a whale of a talent show! Come learn about the songs Under the Sea! Our small camp size ensures a personalized hands-on learning environment for all students. (minimum 8 / maximum 15)
