Develop Skills. Engage with Nature. Build Confidence.

Our classes utilize US Sailing’s REACH curriculum along with our locally developed lessons to teach a dockside STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) session before students sail in our local ocean waters. The physics of sailing is taught along with navigation, tides, currents and nautical knots. Classes utilize a group learning environment to encourage teamwork and collaboration. When students encounter ocean wild life marine science specifics are discussed. These classes are offered in four week rolling sessions but class attendance does not need to be sequential.
