Students discover the world around them as they explore our local harbor waters and beaches. Specimens are examined through microscopes and experiments conducted while making scientific observations. A craft is incorporated every class that relates to the learning theme for the day. Topics to be explored may include plankton, weights and measures, bubbles, habitats, winds and tides, survival strategies for predator vs. prey, deep ocean etc.
