Join our top fishing instructors as they take students on a small fishing vessel to learn and experience fishing in our local ocean waters. While teaching the art of fishing, individualized attention is given and the realities of ocean boating are experienced: boredom, exhilaration, and pure joy! As always we are parent friendly if you want to make this a fun family outing.
Due to the cost of securing our favorite fishing vessel, the Betty G, we need to make sure we have a full boat of ten adventurers. If you’re interested in this trip, email kathleen.mckeegan@waterfronteducation and we will reserve your spot! Once we have ten people interested in the trip, we will determine the date and time for our fishing adventure. Tell your friends and join the fun!
Date and time TBD
Cost: $110 per person / $99 for additional sibling or family member
Enrollment: minimum 8 students / maximum 10 students
Note: If you will be using a school voucher for class payment you can still register your child using our system.
What to bring/wear: Sunscreen, hat, dress in layers, lunch, water, and snacks. Please have students take sea sickness medication (like Dramamine) if they tend to get motion sickness. If this is their first time on the ocean for any duration we recommend taking something as a precaution. There is nothing worse then getting sea sick and ocean conditions frequently fluctuate.
