Be Curious. Design. Build. Test. Redesign. Innovate!

These classes embrace STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards). Through inquiry based learning students become "Discovery Leaders" and shape the curriculum based on their individual and group interests. Students brainstorm, invent, design, and build—then test, improve, and refine their inventions and projects. Safe tool handling is discussed in each session. Students are learning by doing while being encouraged to explore their creative ideas and talents.

Session One - Students will learn the basics of electrical projects by building a simple radio.
Session Two - Students will expand their electrical skills by entering a boat in the annual holiday parade. Programming and scripting will be explored as the class builds their entry and coordinates their music/lights displays.
