Elite Foragists - a blend of a forager and herbalist.

Have you ever wondered what is that one plant you keep seeing on your hikes? How about what plant makes your favorite fragrance? Can I eat the plants I see in my lawn? During the two summer sessions we will be investigating a new, local plant each week that we can eat and/or use as medicine. We will answer those questions as well as many more. This class is the best at being a forager and an herbalist hence our name, the "Elite Foragist". Our students will learn ethical foraging, environmental herbalism and practical skills to take home in their own neighborhoods and homes from both realms.
